Bettina Stevens

Bettina Stevens is the Founder of Reclaimed Hope Initiative and also serves as the Executive Director. Bettina received her BA in Dance and Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College in 2007, and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013. Bettina is certified in Mental Health First Aid, an Adoption Competent Professional and Adoption Competency Trainer through NACAC, and a TBRI® Practitioner. In 2019, she and her husband received the Angels in Adoption Award through the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, baking, and spending time in sweatpants.

Taylor Rolt

Taylor Rolt serves as the Director of Family Support Services for Reclaimed Hope Initiative. She went to Winthrop University and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in Early Childhood Studies. Taylor has worked in a variety of settings with individuals with disabilities, primarily providing support within the domains of independent living and employment. She holds certifications as a CPI Instructor in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and as a Family Life Educator with the National Council on Family Relations. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dog, Ruthie, to the dog park, exploring new restaurants, and binge watching the newest shows.

Danning St. Martin

Danning St. Martin serves as the Assistant Director of Family Support Programs at Reclaimed Hope Initiative. She started working at Camp Hope and Thrive in 2021 and is excited to join the team full-time. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Cognitive Science and Minor in Chinese Language and Literature. Danning has grown a heart for blended families through lived experience as an international adoptee, working with a diverse range of children, and learning more about the impacts of trauma. She is passionate about meeting families where they are with empathy and empowerment to overcome the challenges they face. In her free time she enjoys playing board games with friends, rock climbing, and trying different types of food with her husband, Jacob.

Olivia Moody

Olivia Moody is a Senior Program Manager, and works closely with the children and families in our programming. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology & Health. She is a certified CPR instructor through the American Red Cross. Her goals for the future include getting a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Olivia is a Virginia native and grew up right outside Charlottesville in Fluvanna County. In her free time, she enjoys reading, live music, and taking her dogs Aspen & Nova out on hikes.

Hannah York

Hannah York graduated from James Madison University in 2019 with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Special Education. Hannah has worked in a variety of settings with children with special needs ranging from 2-18 at camps, doing in-home therapy, and serving children with autism. She lived in China for 3 years where she worked with an international clinic, being trained by an Occupational and Physical Therapist to give therapy to children that were being fostered or had been adopted. In her free time, Hannah loves to rock climb, play board games with friends, run, go on hikes, cook, and snuggle up with her little dog, Charlie, and a great book!

Emily Baxter

Emily serves as the Director of Development for Reclaimed Hope Initiative. She received her BA in Communications and Leadership from CNU in 2009.  She is passionate about hosting events that will bring the community together and raising awareness for families in need. A Virginian, born and raised, she and her husband settled in Charlottesville and are here to stay. They have four children and are navigating the world of raising a child with disabilities with their youngest child who has Down syndrome. Emily enjoys spending time with her family, training for triathlons, and always excited to find the next best restaurant Charlottesville has to offer. 

Lindsay Zach

Lindsay Zach is the Family Resource Navigator at RHI. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Sociology in 2002 and worked primarily in case management in an acute hospital setting. In 2010, Lindsay and her husband Paul became foster parents and now have four children adopted through foster care. She has extensive training as well as lived experience in trauma, attachment, foster care, adoption, crisis management and FASD. She enjoys spending time with her family in the great outdoors, hiking, reading, and watching professional soccer.
