Olivia Gough
Olivia Gough serves as Assistant Programs Director, bringing both professional expertise and personal passion to her work supporting children and families.
She has worked in special education with Albemarle County Public Schools for the past three years, supporting middle school students with autism, and is currently pursuing a degree in special education.
As the mother of two daughters, Alani and Noelle, who have attended Camp Hope since 2021, Olivia has experienced the impact of inclusive, therapeutic programming firsthand. Her family's journey has fueled a deep commitment to advocating for children with diverse needs and their families. Through her experiences navigating services for her own daughter, she has worked alongside therapists, educators, and medical professionals to help ensure children with complex needs have the support they deserve.
Before transitioning into education, Olivia worked in healthcare, where she developed a passion for caring for others. She ultimately found her calling in supporting children and families, leading her to pursue a career in special education.
In her role with Reclaimed Hope Initiative, Olivia is dedicated to creating meaningful, inclusive experiences where every child is welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her daughters, spending time with family, tackling DIY projects, and learning new trades simply for the joy of the challenge.
